An Early Start at Perseverance

Carlos and I have always been so proud of Caleb's efforts in everything he does, but lately, his insistence on getting ahead in homework, school work, or anything else that's upon a deadline has shown us his perseverance to succeed more than ever. We have been almost shocked at how insistent he is about needing to finish his weekly homework on the weekend before he's supposed to start it! Nothing we say can reassure him that it is okay to finish it during the week. He's so persistent about finishing and doing his best at it that it's beginning to make me wonder how much longer in life he'll carry this perseverance. For now, though, we'll continue to be proud of how important school is to him and continue to praise him for his perseverance :)
