What a blessing it is to finally have a home! We have so many projects lined up for this house and our front- and backyard, but we've just been so busy lately with settling in, having friends over for small bbq's and family over for visits and we've only now begun to really absorb the fact that this is ours!
This house is ready for the facelift. Carlos and I have to remind each other everyday that all the work we want to do to this house is not going to happen overnight. It's defnitely going to be fun (as it has already been) giving this 1980s home a makeover -- we've been tuning into HG TV quite a bit to learn about modern looks for our house, so we're all set to apply our taste and give this house a more modern [and appealing] look. Fortunately, we have a gorgeous foundation to start with. Summer is near and time should be more available to us then. Pictures will be posted soon so be on the lookout.
