Eighteen of us went to watch Sex and the City on Friday night and we had sooo much fun! We started our night with some cosmos at Rodz right in front of the movie theater, anxiously awaiting the laughs and tears to come. About an hour before the movie started, we strolled over to the theater buzzed as we were. During this little walk, Nina had a "sex and the city" moment when her ticket went flying out of her hand straight toward the traffic (she screamed at this)! It was hilarious witnessing this 29-year-old cutie holding down her sexy little dress while running in heels after that ticket. Jackie came to the rescue to stomp on the ticket to prevent it from flying away further... and all was right with the world... no one was hurt, traffic kept moving, and Nina still had a ticket to theater heaven.
When we got to the ticket admittance booth, the ticket-receiving guy (whatever they're called) let us right into the theater. As the six of us walked in, proud to be the first ones, we noticed Jared Smith on the screen arguing with Samantha! 'WHAT??!! The movie is on???!!!' {delayed reactions of a group of buzzed girls} "Oh my gosh, get out! Get out quickly!!!" We all started scurrying back to the entrance of that theater to avoid hearing anything else in the movie! The guy sent us in not realizing the previous showing was still going! Fortunately, we were out in seconds... or else that ticket receiver would've had 6 pairs of heels stuck up his...
The movie was excellent! It was more than I expected. I loved every storyline for every character. This four-year wait was well worth it!
