A Windy Beach Day

We took Caleb and Ginger to the beach this Saturday and in spite of how windy the day was (especially by the water) we still managed to have a great time. Caleb and I built sand castles and played soccer while Carlos took Ginger for short walks down the gulf side. A sad story to our short fun: Ginger got stung by a jellyfish on her paw. Poor thing was limping around trying to lick the sand off her paw by the time we noticed. She was fine after we arrived home -- we gave her a nice little bath after which she was prancing and trotting around again like the little stallion she thinks she is. As windy as it was, the trip was worth it. Anything to see a huge smile on my little guy's face:


I love those beautiful eyelashes of his! When he was born, would you believe those eyelashes were so long and curly!? Now they're just long, dark and straight -- just like mine!
